- דִּישּׁוּן, דִּשּׁוּןm. (דשן) removal of ashes, cleaning. Yoma 21a ד׳ מזבח חפנימי the ashes removed from the inner altar, ד׳ המנורה the snuffs of the candlesticks, Ib. 33a ד׳ מזבחוכ׳ the cleaning of Tam. III, 9.
